School Refusal
Please join Linda Haley and I at Warm Springs Care Farm on Friday, November 3rd to talk about School Refusal. This is something that I have personal experience with among my own kids and we are gathering to talk about why this is happening and what we can do to support our kids through this. RSVP to Linda at warmsprings.carefarm@gmail.com .
Shamanic Horse Retreat
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, 2023
Time: 10 am - 5 pm each day
Location: Eagle, ID. Address to follow closer to date.
Airport: Boise Airport is 15 miles from Eagle, approximately a 30 minute drive.
Accommodations:
What to expect:
The program is two days in Eagle, ID. We start and stop both Sat and Sun at 10 am - 5 pm each day. Using the medicine wheel as our framework, we will open around the fire with meditation and soul purpose reflection, setting our intentions together. We'll move to the pond where we will do a prompted journaling exercise to explore perspective and how to envision beyond what the eye can see. From there we will connect with the earth through our work with horses where we will take our reflections and intentions and share them with the herd. We will play with the ideas around perspective, awareness, pressure and pace and we will receive feedback from the horses that we can integrate into our deeper connection with self. A Cacao ceremony as well as some drumming activities are included in the experience as well.
Cost: We are offering a sliding scale of $375-$475 to ensure that cost is not a limiting factor. Please note that travel and lodging are not included. If you require further assistance with accommodations, please talk to us and we can review additional options together.
What do I do next? Book your travel and accommodations to get the best prices now. A deposit in the amount of $150 is due to hold your spot. Deposits can be made via Venmo @Amy-Hublou. Upon receipt, we will gather additional registration information.
Thank you. We are grateful for your trust in us and your commitment to yourself. We can't wait to come together in October to share this experience with you.

The Resilient Herd
We understand that while stress cannot be eliminated, stress injuries and stress management can be addressed head on. This requires a paradigm shift, away from the indestructible persona of the helping professional and first responder to a more realistic acceptance of human vulnerabilities so that individuals can learn to take better care of themselves, practice healthy coping strategies, build strength and resilience and support one another adequately.
